Infinite Invention (I2) is going to the sunshine state.  As per terms of a joint development agreement signed by I2 and the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC), the Orlando region municipal electric and water utility, the parties will work together to deploy Simple ConnectDER units to the homes of a number of OUC customers who are enrolling in the utility solar program.  OUC is currently exploring means to more efficiently and cost effectively integrate PV systems into its electric generating portfolio and believes that the ConnectDER could provide significant financial and environmental benefits to OUC and its members in its operations.

The objective of the project will be to confirm the core value propositions of the Simple ConnectDER, specifically, to determine cost and benefits to different stakeholder groups: utility, solar PV installer, and homeowner.   The project will demonstrate the range of savings, and develop deployment processes for the OUC customer care, solar program, and metering groups.

The project was initiated in May and will run through mid 2015.
